Managing Director I CEO I MAI Global Commodity

Mr. Gbolagade Mumeen is the President and Chief Executive Officer of MAI Global Commodity LLC, where he is leading a rapid and comprehensive transformation of the company. Since 2009, Mr. Mumeen has overseen a program of increased efficiencies, strengthened MAI Global Commodity’s overall performance and fostered a more commercial mindset. Before taking on the leadership of MAI Global Commodity, Mr. Mumeen was the Chief Executive Officer of MAI Company Ltd, and worked as a procurement Officer in Lafarge-Holcim.

In driving MAI’s 2040 strategy towards a more profitable upstream, more valuable downstream, and more sustainable and economic energy supply, Mr. Mumeen adopts several digital skills that promote the vision and mission of the company.

Mr. Mumeen is also leading a digital transformation at the company by prioritizing the adoption of breakthrough technologies including Artificial intelligence (AI), Big Data, Data Science and Blockchain to ensure MAI Global Commodity stays ahead of global digital transformation that meet energy demand and remains a key contributor to the economy.
